The Oconee Cup is a golf tournament featuring two teams of 16 players each, playing 30 matches over a three-day period in the Ryder cup format. The winning team is to be awarded the Oconee Cup, with all the members’ names to be engraved on it. The make-up of the event is 7 matches of Four-Ball (Better Ball), 7 matches of Foursomes (Alternate Shot), and 16 individual singles match.
Handicaps apply and will be determined by the tournament officials. Appropriate handicap adjustments will apply based on the tee selection of individual participants.
The competition will be played under the “Match Play Rules of Golf”
